Ingredients
The amount of these ingredients may vary depending on how many burgers you’ll be making, but we’ll offer up measurements for about four patties.
You’ll need:
- 1.5 pounds ground beef
- 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Hamburger buns (the type is totally up to you)
- Any toppings you see fitting, including lettuce, tomato, cheese (any kind), pickles, onion
Instructions
One of the great things about a BBQ burger is that how it’s made varies from person to person. Sometimes you gotta give it some of your own TLC.
For a simple BBQ burger, here’s one way to prepare it:
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Gently mix together.
- Divide the mixture into four equal patties and shape them to your desired thickness.
- Grill the patties for three to five minutes per side over medium to high heat, or until they reach your desired temperature. (If you don’t have a grill, cooking your patties on a skillet over medium to high heat will also get the job done.)
- Place one of your cooked patties on a hamburger bun and top with lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles, and onion. Don’t forget to smother it with some more delicious BBQ sauce.
